Please read this entire document carefully. It is a legal document that affects your rights. Agreeing to these terms is a condition of entry into the Event. For teams, each team member must agree to these terms. For minors, the minor and their parent or guardian must agree to these terms. If you do not agree to these terms you must not enter the Event.
Event means the CBR 100 Challenge and any associated aspects of the event including training runs and walks.
Organisers means Earlybird Events and other persons or entities associated directly or indirectly with the Event and includes employees, directors, volunteers, agents, representatives, contractors, promoters, public bodies, landholders and sponsors.
Personal Information includes name, contact details, address, medical information, results, photographs, videos, multimedia and likeness.
1. I acknowledge that participating in the Event involves risks. These risks include injury, death and property damage.
2. I acknowledge that in participating in the Event:
a. I may be injured or may die
b. my property may be lost, damaged or stolen
c. I may injure other people
d. I may damage the property of others.
3. I acknowledge that there are numerous possible causes of loss, injury, death, property damage or liability in connection with my participation in the Event. Specific hazards include, but are not limited to:
a. roads that are open to traffic
b. bush trails with uneven, steep, rocky or slippery surfaces
c. the natural environment including flora and fauna
d. remote locations with limited or no access to medical treatment or transport
e. travelling by day and at night by torch light
f. prevailing weather conditions
g. other participants, spectators and the general public
h. property theft.
4. Despite knowing these hazards, I am choosing to participate in the Event. I acknowledge that I am participating in the Event at my own risk.
5. I acknowledge and agree that:
a. I have read the Event information (including the information on the Event website)
b. I have undertaken appropriate training and preparation to participate in the Event
c. I do not have any known illness or medical condition that increases my risk of injury or death from participating in the Event
d. I will carry with me all reasonable safety equipment and supplies and do not rely on the Organisers to provide it to me
e. I will comply with normal traffic rules, the Event rules and the directions of Event officials and police
f. If there is a change to my team, I will inform the Organisers immediately.
6. I release the Organisers from all claims, demands and proceedings arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Event (including any claim for injury, death, property damage, loss of opportunity or loss of revenue) and I indemnify the Organisers against all liability, loss or damage arising out of my participation in the Event. This release and indemnity continues forever and binds my heirs, executors, personal representatives and assigns.
7. I acknowledge and agree:
a. that the Organisers may use my Personal Information (including my emergency contact’s name and contact details) in relation to organising the Event and in promotion and marketing of the Organisers and future events
b. that the Organisers may store my Personal Information (including my emergency contact’s name and contact details) in a database or databases of competitors which may or may not be located in Australia
c. that if I select to become a member of a team, my teammates may have access to my Personal Information.
8. I have informed my emergency contact of the use of the Personal Information and they have given their consent to me to including their personal information in my entry form.
9. I agree that the Organisers may at any time change the Event (for example by changing the Event course or date) or cancel the Event due to safety concerns, whether conditions, withdrawal of permits, an ‘act of god’ or other unforseen circumstance and that if that occurs I will not receive any refund or credit.
10. If I am unable to complete the Event within the cut-off times, I will not receive any refund or credit.
11. I acknowledge that any refunds or transfers must be in accordance with the Refund and Transfer Policy process published on the Event website.

1. A soloist or team may transfer their entry to another soloist or team for a $30 admin fee up until 22nd February 2016.
2. A soloist or team may transfer to a longer distance for the cost of the increase in entry fee up until 22nd February 2016. No admin fee will be charged.
3. A soloist or team may transfer to a shorter distance with no refund for the reduced price of entry up until 22nd February 2016. No admin fee will be charged.
4. If a soloist or team chooses to withdraw from the event prior to 1st February 2016 and notifies the CBR 100 Challenge team in writing, they will be able to either:
a. Receive credit for an identical entry for CBR 100 Challenge 2017
b. Receive a refund for the full entry price minus 20%, not including any merchandise or trainings sessions bought at time of entry
5. If a soloist or team chooses to withdraw from the event AFTER 1st February 2016 there is will be no monetary refund or credit given for another CBR 100 Challenge event.


1. Employees of CBR100 CHALLENGE and Earlybird Events or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
2. Entrants can enter via commenting on the pinned post.
3. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over to enter the competition.
4. The main prize is a two (2) night stay at Alivio Tourist Park valued at $500. The two (2) minor prizes will be awarded to runner up entrants.
a. Think. Go Faster hydration pack, a 25 box of Shotz energy gels and a 12 pack of Shots Electrolyte tablets plus Darryl Griffiths Sweat, Think Go fater book valued at $50.
b. Pair of Icebreak Merino Socks valued at $30
5. Entrants must have completed their registration into the 2016 CBR100 Challenge to enter the competition.
6. Winners will be able to pick up their prize in conjunction with the collection of Race Registration packs prior to the event.
7. By participating in this promotion entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
8. The promotion closes at 5.00pm Thursday 11 February 2016. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted. No Responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
9. The prize must be taken as supplied and is neither redeemable for cash nor transferable. No responsibility is accepted by the organiser for any variation in the value of the prize. Prizes are subject to availability and CBR100 CHALLENGE reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
10. You acknowledge that to enter the competition you must comment on the competition post as posted on the CBR100 CHALLENGE Facebook page. Entries must be administered as comments under the post and will not be accepted in other formats (e.g. messaging the page). We do not allow third party advertising, SPAM, malicious comments or bad spirited information to be posted and will delete any such captions.
11. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged, based upon individual creative merit.
12. All contestants release from, and indemnify CBR100 CHALLENGE and Earlybird Events of all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize.
13. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
14. Entry into this competition signifies acceptance of all terms and conditions. The Promoters’ decision will be final and cannot be contested.

As this is a FACEBOOK promoted competition, by entering you must also adhere to the standard Terms and Conditions as set by Facebook:
a. This is a game of skill.
b. The judges reserve the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the opinion of the judges, includes objectionable content, including but not limited to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory images or language. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
c. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control.
d. The prize is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash. Any attempt to resell or auction all or any part of this prize will result in an immediate cancellation of the prize. Prize cannot be exchanged. In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by The Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
e. By entering this contest, you agree to a complete release of Facebook from any or all liability in connection with this contest.
f. The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Twitter.
g. The competition will be administered on Pages or within apps on Facebook. Personal Timelines and friend connections will not be used to administer promotions.
h. This promotion is administered completely through Facebook.
i. Facebook will not assist in the administration of the promotion.
